Executive Director - Aramentel Austin is the CEO of the Austin Dancers Inc. In 1966 Mrs Austin started a cultural art program for children in her community of New York City. The children were very enthusiastic with their dance program, and became so skilled in the art that Aramentel felt they should be allowed to demonstrate their abilities to others in the community Thus the idea of an annual show presented by the Austin Dancers has been consistent since 1967 to the present time. The past 42 years Mrs Austin has devoted her time helping underprivileged children. Her work continues to bring her satisfaction, gratification, and love. She continues to be a pillar in the community of diversity.

Artistic Director - Debbie Williams is the Producer, Drama Coach and Lead Choreographer. Debbie has been with The Austin Dancers since 1966. She is A Hunter College Graduate who has been dancing since the age of 3. She teaches jazz, tap, and drama.

Assistant Artistic Director - Chazz Young is the Tap & Swing instructor, Assistant Producer, and assistant Choreographer. He has been working with The Austin Dancers since 1968.

Dance Instructor - James Richard is the student dance instructor James has taken classes at The Austin Dancers for eleven years.

Percussionist/Instructor - Linda Austin (L.A.) the musical Director/percussionist/instructor and musical therapist for special needs children. Linda has been with The Austin Dancers since 1966. Visit her at LA-SimplySkins.com

Secretary - Helena Jones has been our secretary for over three years.

In addition to her secretarial work, Helena publishes the monthly newsletter, brochures, informational flyers and programs for the annual shows.

For the past 14 years the Austin Dancers Inc. has been a staple in the Las Vegas Community that operates an Academy providing programs for underprivileged children. The Austin Dancers Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose ultimate goal is a multi-faceted approach in preparing students for Life and the development of their bodies and minds through the "Art of Dance and Lessons in Productive Living.

Specializing in Tap, Jazz, Swing, Drama and the Theater Arts, the Academy teaches the art of dance and theater arts to youth, ages 5 and up.

Each year in June, the Academy presents an elaborate stage production that showcases the students performing quality dance routines and theater arts.

ADOPT-A-DANCER SCHOLARSHIPS - These scholarships are for the 2009-2010 program and provide:

Tuition, Dancewear, Shoes and Costumes one year $1500

Tuition, Dancewear, Shoes 6 months $750

Tuition and Dancewear 3 months $375
